The Salvation Army provides Holiday Food Boxes for families living well below the federal poverty level. Join us in packing boxes of holiday food for them.
Each family receiving a box has requested holiday assistance through the Salvation Army. These families all fall well below the federal poverty level the parents would not be able to provide for their family's Holiday if not for this vital program and community support from you. The time goes by quickly and your effort makes a big impact in the lives of the people receiving these boxes.
Families and households who have signed up through the Salvation Army reside throughout Alameda County and meet our income guidelines as set by FEMA.

We provide rehabilitation and promote self-sufficiency, are a steadfast presence to the lonely and to those who have lost hope, we are the first on the scene of a disaster - and the last to leave.
Our ministry is motivated by the love of God, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
