King’s Daughters United (KDU) is dedicated to empowering teenage girls to believe in themselves in order to restore hope, self-worth, and confidence through positive and encouraging mentoring relationships.

We do this by recruiting women from all fields. After a thorough screening process, you will receive training to make sure you are fully prepared and confident in being matched with a group of teenage girls. Then we monitor the relationship while offering you support and ongoing training.

Our small group "Wholly Me" program is an 8-week program where teenage girls meet with two trained mentors and peers to reinforce positive identities, build healthy friendships, and set goals for the future.

Each session consists of an icebreaker, a lesson, an activity, a biblical connection, open discussions, and a game that ties into the topic for that week.

Topics include:
Positive identity and self-image
Online Etiquette & Wholesome Speech
Forgiveness & Accountability
Vision, Purpose, & Perseverance
Spiritual Gifts & Learning Styles
Goal Setting & Growth Mindset
Managing Emotions & Communicating Effectively
Identifying Triggers & Dealing with Trauma and Self-Harm

As a mentor in our organization, you will serve as

 A knowledgeable guide for teenage girls
 A thoughtful facilitator who provides access to people and resources
 A role model, advocate, and friend
