Harley's Hope Foundation, a small nonprofit animal welfare charity providing services to keep pets and their people together, seeks a Board Secretary effective immediately. Duties include attending quarterly board meetings in the Colorado Springs area, taking minutes at meetings, disseminating draft of minutes to board members for input/corrections, presenting minutes for board approval, maintaining minutes and recording votes on policy issues voted on via email.

Mission Statement
Our purpose is to ensure low income pet parents and their companion or service animals remain together when issues arise. The goal in doing so is to prevent at-risk animals from being surrendered or falling victim to euthanasia for treatable conditions and behaviors.
Description
Harley's Hope Foundation is Colorado's only multi-service safety net charity dedicated entirely to keeping pets and people together. We don't do pet adoptions but instead work hard to keep pets in their existing homes. After all, adoption is just the first step in the journey.
Services include financial assistance with major veterinary care, emergency foster/boarding assistance for pets whose people are hospitalized, pet food assistance, and much more.
