We need volunteers to help us with our blood drives in Bucks & Montgomery Counties!
Blood Donor Ambassadors:
Immediate need for friendly, personable volunteers at area blood drives near your location. Flexibility is key; location(s) and one or two 4-6 hour shifts per month are yours to choose.
Welcome blood donors in your community, assist them with their registration, direct them to the donation area, and ensure their questions are answered.
After donating blood, ensure donors are offered refreshments and thank them for their contribution. Free training!
Blood Transport Drivers:
Immediate need for volunteer drivers to pick-up life-saving blood from blood drives near you and deliver to the Red Cross Donation Center (700 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA) and/or from the Donation Center to area hospitals.
Schedule your own pick-up days and routes; typical drive about 2-4 hours round trip; most volunteers drive twice a month (most using own car). Free training!
