Are you looking for a way to give back this holiday season? How about being a secret Santa for some lonely, dementia/alzheimer's residents at The Julia Temple Healthcare Center! Many of our residents don't have any friend or family involvement, which is sad all the time, but ESPECIALLY sad around the holidays! We are asking the community for donations for filled stockings to pass our to our loneliest residents on Christmas morning. These 'stockings' can be actual Christmas sock-style stockings, or small, filled boxes, or even stuffed and decorated Ziploc bags! :) Inside, you can put any combination of small, store-bought goodies (no home-made foods, please), like: trial sized lotions, perfumes/colognes, candies, nuts, dried fruits, small tissue packs, new, fun socks, and any other Christmas-y trinkets you think of! The cost for each of these stockings should be between $5-$10-- it's really the thought that counts.
