Graze in Peace farm animal rescue is looking for reliable animal-lovers to work alongside our staff caregivers to help with hands-on animal care and barn chores 1 or 2 mornings a week.
Have fun spending time with appreciative rescued farm animals (pigs, goats, llamas, sheep, chickens and turkeys) while donating your time to a very worthy cause.
Must love the outdoors and be very mindful around large and small farm animals. Prefer someone with some large animal experience.

Description
Graze in Peace is a farm animal sanctuary and learning center located on 20 acres just north of Portland, Maine. Our current rescued residents include chickens, turkeys, pigs, goats, sheep and llamas. Along with sanctuary to over 60 farmed animals, we offer humane education, community outreach, and therapeutic Care Farm activities where displaced, disadvantaged or disabled people can come use the therapeutic setting of our rescue farm as a place for healing and learning.
