ORGANIZATION: Translational Pulmonary and Immunology Research Center | Southern California Food Allergy Institute

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

About the Company: TPIRC is a non-profit clinical care and research center that focuses on the development of cutting-edge, individualized treatment protocols for rare and orphan diseases utilizing comprehensive diagnostic tools and patient-driven research.

Our Tolerance Induction Program (TIP) patients embark on a 14+ month journey where they are tested and given an individualized treatment plan to treat their life-threatening food allergies. They challenge a new dose of allergenic foods every 6-8 weeks to treat their most anaphylactic allergens. The goal is for our patients to eat whatever they want, whenever they want at whatever quantities. This success is what we call food freedom.

Volunteer Project: You will help prep for every patient that comes through our doors. Tasks include putting together Welcome Kit folders and assembling the informational sheets into the respective tabs. Sample folders will be provided for visual reference. All items will be pre-printed for assembly.
