Edgewood's Kinship Program is hosting a Holiday Party for its clients (caregivers who are raising relative children). The event will take place at our San Carlos office from 10am-1pm (shift is from 9am-1:30pm). We will need assistance in setting-up and breaking-down as well.
Caregivers will be treated to a variety of activities including:
+holiday food and drinks
+arts and crafts (holiday card making)
+toy distribution
+children's bike give away
+ White Elephant Party
+and much more!
We need two volunteers to help us with set-up, break-down and then during the party, help monitor stations (such as the toy distribution and the holiday card making).
No experience is needed- We will train you that morning. It's a great way to give back to caregivers who are raising children who have been through so much!
More opportunities with Edgewood Center for Children and Families

Description
Edgewood Center for Children and Families (Edgewood) helps children and families take back their future by working with them to overcome severe challenges like abuse, neglect, mental illness, and family crisis. The oldest children's charity in the western U.S., Edgewood has evolved to meet the community's changing needs. What began as a refuge for Gold Rush orphans more than 150 years ago is now a nationally recognized, multifaceted agency. Edgewood serves more than 5,000 children and families in the Bay Area each year through community and residential programs.
