Hello! It is that time of year for an amazing program for Volunteers through our Adopt a Family program. We serve a lot of underprivledged members and families who are in need of assistance for the holidays (specifically Christmas)
We have a sheet that Families fill out and request items such as Clothes, Toiletries, toys for there kids and food. We have had a family who once needed a Christmas tree and a lot more. We worked with volunteers and comunicated with the family and a group sponsored a holiday meal and helped with 3 month of rent. If you would like more stories on how the program has impacted familes jsut request.
We do ask that only serious inquirys apply for this as it is emberassing for families if we tell them we couldnt get them sponsored.

Description
Many children have no adult supervision after school. Studies have shown that the hours between 3 and 7 p.m. are the hours that most kids are likely to get involved with crimes, be victims of crime or engage in other risky behavior. The Clubs provide an alternative to the dangers of the streets. Moreover, the Clubs provide stimulating activities that help build character, self-esteem, values, and skills.
