Philadelphia LUNG FORCE WALK, May 14, 2022

The LUNG FORCE Walk is a fun and upbeat event in which participants come dressed head to toe in turquoise to show support in the fight for lung health and the fight against lung disease. Participants enjoy games, activities and refreshments before their walk around Historic South Philadelphia. Visit lungforce.org/walk for participant and volunteer registration.

We strongly encourage participants and volunteers to be vaccinated. We will continue to closely monitor local health conditions and CDC recommendations. Additional protocols will be put into place as needed including health screenings, limited event capacity, masks, and social distancing.

Headhouse Square - 6:30am to 12:30pm

Mission Statement

The American Lung Association's mission is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We do this through education, advocacy, and research.

Description

For more than 115 years, Americans have trusted us to protect their lungs, whether it's researching treatments and cures for lung diseases, keeping kids off tobacco, including e-cigarettes, or advocating for laws that protect the air we all breathe.

Our goals are big-defeat lung cancer, create a tobacco-free future, champion clean air for all, and improve the quality of life for those living with lung disease.

Because when you can't breathe, nothing else matters(r).
