Job Title: Multitalented Volunteer (Open to all skills)

At Thrive Pro Bono, our mission is to reduce inequality by bridging the gap between passionate professionals and underserved individuals for more resilient communities.

We are a 100% volunteer-run, 501c3 nonprofit organization that impacts the lives of everyone it touches. Our volunteers benefit professionally and personally, partner organizations can better serve their clients and meet their mission, and underserved individuals receive services previously out of reach.

Position Summary:

This opportunity is open to volunteers of all kinds. We are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to help our organization meet its goals. We are looking for volunteers with specific skills they want to share and also for those that are happy to help in any way they can. We do request that our volunteers can maintain a reasonably regular schedule, and we will work with their availability to find a good fit.

We strive to make Thrive Pro Bono a beneficial endeavor for everyone we reach. We, therefore, maintain strict professional standards and expectations for our volunteers to ensure clients receive quality services, but also to ensure the volunteer’s time spent with Thrive Pro Bono enhances their resume and provides an enriching experience for all.

Location: Within the Houston area. The site may vary.

Schedule: Flexible. Minimum commitment one hour per week for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities and Duties: This particular opportunity opening is for anyone wishing to volunteer with us regardless of whether we have a position requesting your specific skills.

Qualifications and Skills: The specific skills will vary, but we believe everyone has something to offer, and we want to hear your wishes and ideas for volunteering with us. Hopefully, we can find a good fit.

We identify the needs of a community and organize a team of highly-skilled volunteers to address those needs. We provide tutors, dietitians, trainers, therapists, and other services currently out of reach. We are 100% volunteer-run, without our volunteers we would not exist. We believe in improving the lives of everyone we touch. Our volunteers are at the forefront of our mission, we value, nurture, and grow your skills.
