Under the direction of the Winooski Memorial Library, HW Help Tutor and Engagement Volunteers help youth by offering homework help support, participating in activities, and playing a mentorship role to youth in the library. Activities could include a pick-up basketball or dodgeball game, talking with youth, board/card games, or craft projects. Volunteers are to be a positive role model for kids. This is a flexible role that will form to the needs of the youth.

Description
The Community Services Department oversees the Parks and Rec Department, The Winooski Senior Center, the Winooski Memorial Library, Thrive Afterschool Programming, The O'Brien Community Center, and the Winooski Community Gardens.
