The EMT provides emergency care of the sick, injured, infirm, aged and the transportation to hospitals or other medical care facilities. The EMT will function as a member of a crew including a driver or a tech as well as non certified trainee/observers. The EMT will represent the Corp and help promote safety from accidents and to disseminate knowledge of First Aid procedures. As a EMT member you will benefit working closely with Fire, Police and Educators throughout Hoboken and Hudson County.

Mission Statement
The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps (HVAC or Hoboken EMS) is the primary 911 EMS provider in Hoboken, and the only full-time all-volunteer ambulance provider in Hudson County. The Corps responds to nearly 5000 calls for service yearly in Hoboken and, as needed, in neighboring areas.

- 4 Shifts per month. Shift times vary from 4 to 8 hours depending on the time of day and shift schedule.
