This volunteer opportunity is designed to help seniors live in a more safe and accessible home. This important volunteer service will help Kalamazoo County seniors to remain living independently.
Ideal volunteers would be willing to provide a variety of home repairs, maintenance tasks and barrier free modifications for seniors to improve their ability to live in a safe, accessible home. Volunteers will work in team of at least two people. This opportunity takes place in Kalamazoo County. Shifts are between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., on Tuesdays with a flexible schedule. This is an ideal opportunity for older adults and adults with knowledge of general home repairs.

We host RSVP - Your Invitation to Volunteer, and the Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent national service programs to connect older adults to volunteering and to support them in their service. Our 1858 Catering offers casual to sophisticated dining with a purpose, as all profits support our Meals on Wheels and Friendship Center Meal Sites.
