We need volunteers to create Thanksgiving cards or wishing someone a good day. These cards will be given to the "Meals on Wheels" customers. All materials are available in West Campus Student Life.
What to write?
- Some people write a simple greeting, silly jokes, poems, etc.
What NOT to write?
- Please avoid overly religious wording or religious symbols.
- Please FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE! For example: Do NOT write: "Hope you are not feeling bad and super lonely today."
Create the handmade cards in West Campus Student Life. Please do NOT create them ahead of time. All materials are available in West Campus Student Life, including greeting cards, envelopes, markers, and colored pencils.
Volunteer Hours:
- 5 cards = 1 hour
- 30 cards = 6 hours
- 50 = 10 hours (no more than 10 hours)
- Monday-Thursday -- 9am-6pm
- Friday -- 10am-5pm
LAST DAY IS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21 @ 6:00pm
