12/21/19 River Mountains Loop Trail Cleanup Starting at Mountain Lake Park

Join us at our last cleanup of 2019!

It will be a great day to be outside on a trail and we invite you to join us on the River Mountains Loop Trail on Saturday, December 21st from 9:00am - 12:00pm. We will be meeting at the trail entrance from Mountain Lake Park at 1020 Golda Way, Henderson, NV 89011.

The River Mountains Loop Trail is a 34 mile desert landscaped trail that surrounds the River Mountains connecting Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Hoover Dam, Henderson, and the rest of the Las Vegas Valley. There are interpretative kiosks and wayside exhibits along the trail that explain the natural and cultural history of the area.

Get Outdoors Nevada will provide all the tools for the event and a water refill station for volunteers!

Please wear weather appropriate clothing, a wide brim hat, closed toe shoes, sun protection, and bring your reusable water bottle. In an effort to reduce waste, we will have a water refill station available for you to use.

Event details will be confirmed by email a few days before the event.

Note to minors: If you’re under 18 years old and coming without an adult, you will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers will be emailed to registrants.

Suggested Clothing: Closed-toe shoes, Long pants, Long-sleeve shirt, Wide-brim hat
