The Life Literacies Program at the Downtown branch is looking for volunteers to work alongside Staff Librarians while assisting with program preparation as well as information navigation to overcome hurdles to housing, safety, education, health, and income. The program leads provides a lot of training for you to provide these crucial services. This is a rewarding opportunity for a person looking for, and comfortable with, serving our most vulnerable community members. Spanish speaking a plus.

The hours for the Life Literacy Center vary by day and trend toward 10am-4pm depending on the organization. Passing a background check is required.
