Chez minibiblioPLUS nous donnons vie aux livres! Nous recherchons des bénévoles enthousiastes qui aimeraient diffuser leur amour des livres en lisant aux enfants de 0 à 8 ans.
Voulez-vous animer une heure du conte hebdomadaire? C'est une activité simple et amusante qui a un impact énorme sur les enfants de notre communauté.
Les enfants de nombreuses garderies et centres communautaires de CDN - NDG attendent avec impatience leur heure du conte!
Responsabilités:
- Animer une heure de conte hebdomadaire
- Assister à une ou plusieurs sessions de formation sur la façon de lire aux enfants
- Partager les commentaires sur les progrès / le succès des activités
Exigences:
- L'amour des livres et de la lecture et le désir de les partager avec les enfants
- Disponibilité pour environ 2-3 heures par semaine
- Capacité à s'engager pour une période d'au moins 2 mois
At minibiblioPLUS we give life to books! We are currently looking for cheerful volunteers who would like to spread their love of books by reading to children aged 0 to 8 years old.
Would you like to animate a weekly storytime hour? It is a simple and fun activity with an enormous impact on children in our city.
Children across daycares and community centers in CDN - NDG are eagerly awaiting their storytime hour!
Responsibilities:
* Animate a weekly story hour.
* Attend 1 or more training sessions on how to read to children
* Share feedback on progress/success of activities
Requirements:
* Love for books and reading, and a desire to share these interests with children
* Availability for approximately 2-3 hours a week
* Ability to commit for at least 2 months

We offer a free public mini-library service to partner organizations, giving access to our collection, support and early literacy tools. We curate books that allow educators, parents and volunteers the opportunity to instill in children the desire to read, paving the road to lifelong learning skills and prosperity.
