Villages Clark County Mission: To support seniors, giving assistance that allows them to stay in their homes longer, as safely and inexpensively as possible. Aging can bring with it a number of challenges forcing people into assisted living sooner than needed.
The Village Clark County, Operations Team is in need of volunteers to help with three tasks:
1) Responding to Office Phone Calls and Emails: Phone Responders read incoming emails and route messages to VCC Team Leads, including Members’ requests for services; inquiries about Villages and offers to volunteer in assisting Members and operational support of the village.
2) Processing Member Requests for Services:The Service Request Team uses a Villages computer program to create and manage Members’ requests for transportation and assistance with light housekeeping and outdoor tasks. The computer system generates emails and helps track these requests and volunteer responses.
3) Recording Completed Service Requests: Service completion reports are emailed by volunteers to the Office staff. Service Completion Team members update the Member’s service request record to close it, using a Villages computer program.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program supports over 100 non-profits and organizations in Clark County, Washington by interviewing, screening, and referring volunteers ages 55 and up.
