Vancouver Farmers Market Mission: Our mission is to create community by providing local farm products, original artisan creations, and quality prepared foods. We Value Community, Education, Sustainability, and Growth.
The market is Southwest Washington's #1 visitor attraction and home to over 250 vendors. You'll discover fresh and local produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, delicious food, pet treats, and accessories for yourself, home, or garden. The Vancouver Farmers Market is a pet friendly place where you can chat with people who have grown or created your purchase, grab a bite to eat, listen to music, stroll through the park, watch the kids play, and enjoy a wonderful, relaxing day.
Produce Pals provides a dynamic opportunity for children to engage in the local food system thru discussions with farmers, educational games, and demos and exposure to new fruits and veggies. After completing an engaging activity each week from June-August, kids ages 3-11 receive a $2 token to spend on fruits and veggies at the farmer's market allowing them to make their own shopping decisions.
On site orientation provided. Must love working with kids. Must work outside in all weather conditions Saturday and Sundays market hours.
Minimum age: 18
NOTE: The market is only open March - October
