Thank you for your interest in volunteering! At this event we will partner with Clark County Public Works to re-plant native trees and shrubs, add mulch to plants and perform general planting maintenance. This planting is part of the Clean Water Reforestation Program that aims to protect fish habitat, improve water quality and wildlife habitat, and enhance native vegetation.
Families are encouraged to kick off the holiday season by giving back to the community and taking part in this community event.
Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing. If you have gloves, please bring them. Boots are recommended, but not required. We will provide light snacks and water for volunteers.
Youth 13 and younger can volunteer with a parent or guardian. Teenagers 14 to 17 years old need to have signed minor consent forms to volunteer without a parent or guardian. Please copy and paste this URL into your browser to access the form: http://bit.ly/EventConsent.
If you have any questions please contact the Volunteer Program Assistant, Dora Hernandez, at 564-397-1679 or Dora.Hernandez@clark.wa.gov.
