Volunteers at the front desk assist staff in meeting the needs of clients and guests. Among the responsibilities of front desk volunteers are doing client laundry, answering calls and greeting guests, explaining services to guests, facilitating Drop-In Services, sorting in-kind donations, and organizing the donation garage.
Shifts are currently open and we will work with your schedule to find a time that fits.

Description
Shelter House is a non-profit organization that has provided housing and support services to people experiencing homelessness since 1983. We currently operate a 70-bed emergency shelter in addition to four homes and housing-first complex through which we provide 47 permanent supportive housing units. We focus on programs and support services including housing, employment, and mental health recovery that help hundreds of men, women, and children each year to get back on their feet.
