Peninsula Food Runners

We are seeking volunteers that can pick up food in the mornings or mid-afternoons from local companies and then drive the food to non-profits that feed their clientele. For example, the food might be driven to a local nonprofit that feeds the homeless, elderly, children, recovering addicts, etc.
Volunteers use their own cars and each food run takes about 90 minutes.
If you can help us out once a week or twice a month, it would really help.
It's satisfying and flexible and we are organized!
Let's keep this food out of land fill and into bodies.
Please respond through Volunteer Match, contact Liz at Liz@peninsulafoodrunners.org and she can tell you more or sign up at: www.peninsulafoodrunners.org under the Volunteer tab.
Thank you!
