Volunteers serve as a liaison between patients and families and hospital staff to fulfill nonclinical requests.

Comfort Cart volunteers make hospital rounds with a cart filled with magazines, puzzles, coloring pages/crayons, snacks, coffee, and more. Volunteers help with providing ways to make patients and families more comfortable during their stay.

Volunteers add extra warmth that is appreciated by our patients, their families and our staff. They are exceptional people who take the extra steps to make a difference in other people’s lives. Volunteering is a great learning experience and an excellent way to meet people, make new friends, and get some exercise.
