The Valley’s Ronald McDonald Family Room helps families of ill or injured children who are receiving care at the Edinburg Children’s Hospital. We provide a safe haven for families at a very stressful and difficult time. It is a great feeling to provide some comfort and care to families in need. By volunteering at the Ronald McDonald Family Room, you can experience the many rewards that come from helping others. Because our Family Room is open 8am to 8pm, 7days a week, year-round, we can find a volunteer opportunity that meets your schedule and lifestyle. We at the Family Room in Edinburg Children’s Hospital are always in need of volunteers. This need ranges from office assistance, meal preparation, evening/weekend shift hosts, food/snack donations, necessity drives and much more.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is an American independent nonprofit organization whose stated mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. The Family Room specifically helps families of ill children by providing food, showers, a place to sleep and a place to get away from the hospital environment.
