of Southwest Washington is an all volunteer Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Organization whose mission is "Gardens and programs that inspire, educate, and enrich our lives and community"

Our statement of purpose is to educate and encourage citizens on the importance of developing, restoring, maintaining and conserving wildlife habitat and the native plants that comprise that habitat.

The Wildlife Botanical Gardens serve as a showcase for plants attractive to birds and wildlife, and to demonstrate landscaping for creating wildlife habitat. Visit our gardens as a model for planning your own yard or garden.

NATURESCAPING OF SW WA’S most important educational program is their Wildlife Botanical Gardens. Each of the ten separately themed gardens require upkeep by a Garden Helper. This volunteer opportunity requires a continuous commitment of time, but it can be flexible to meet your busy lives. If you don’t have gardening experience, these opportunities are a wonderful way to learn. In this position you will be doing general garden duties such as wedding, digging, hauling with wheelbarrows, pruning, etc.

Qualification for this position is able to perform duties as listed. This position is primarily between March and October. Training will be done by a garden coordinator on duty to supervise and instruct.
