* We have a high need for 1:1 swim instructor/buddies for our youth development program.
Volunteer with the Lakewood Lightning Swim Team! You can support our athletes by volunteering as a 1:1 swim buddy, as an assistant coach, or as a unified partner. Most volunteers will spend the duration of practice in the pool, please be prepared to swim!
Our youth team practices from 5:45 -6:45 PM and the Adult Team directly after from 7:00 - 8:30 PM, you are welcome to volunteer for one team or both!

Description
Lakewood's Therapeutic Recreation program offers Recreation and Leisure opportunities to individuals with disabilities in our community. Volunteer opportunities include special olympics sports, community outings, community dances, summer day camp and more!
