The Metropolitan Performing Arts is dedicated to enriching our community by nurturing a lifelong passion and appreciation for live arts through education and performance opportunities. It is our goal to involve, cultivate, nurture and enhance. Academy Volunteers are needed to assist with numerous different tasks depending on your skills and interest. The need is great and the experience is invaluable. Activities may include: costuming, painting, construction, prop building, organizational/filing, move in/strike for productions (at theater venues), ushering, marketing, hanging up posters, room organization, fundraising, canvassing, summer camp counselors, assisting executive director, etc.

This service activity will involve working with both children and adults. Training provided and varies by the job. Minimum age is 8. Shifts are available Monday - Sunday, days and evenings depending on the need.

Description

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program supports over 100 non-profits and organizations in Clark County, Washington by interviewing, screening, and referring volunteers ages 55 and up.

***IMPORTANT NOTE: The RSVP program will be closing its doors March 31, 2020.
