Throughout the six week elementary summer program, girls participate in our research based programing focused on our core values of Strong, Smart, and Bold. Girls also receive structured programing to increase reading literacy, math and science related skills. Students enrolled in the program will receive a morning snack and hot lunch.
During the two week high school summer program focuses on career and college readiness. Girls will be provided with hands-on experiences exposing them to interesting STEAM and career opportunities.
Volunteers must commit at least 2 hours at a time. Keep time under 10 hours a month in order to stay at a level 1 background screening. You can "adopt" one class or rotate classes at the site. We ask that if you are teaching a skill or speaking on a topic you would route between classes to ensure all students are engaged.
