ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

The Refugee and Asylee Mentoring Program (RAMP) at Journey's End Refugee Services serves refugees, asylees, and SIV holders from the ages of 18 to 24 who have been in the US for less than 5 years. The RAMP program will pair them with mentors who can best help them meet their personal, professional, and academic goals.

WHAT MENTORS WILL DO:

Mentors meet with their mentees for activities, workshops, and field trips that focus on community integration, academic support, career development, and health and financial literacy.

MENTOR QUALIFICATION:

People of any background are encouraged to apply, especially those in the refugee community. Mentors do not need to speak a 2nd language to be in the program.

TIME COMMITMENT:

Only 1hr a week with your mentee.

TIME AND LOCATION:

Mentors can complete their hour a week at either of our weekly planned group events below or at any time and place that works for the mentor and mentee.
