The Encinitas Library has many wonderful events occurring throughout the year. Currently it needs your help.
We are looking for volunteers to help us with events involving music, the Bookstore and special events like Japan Festival. It can be for an hour or a day -- any help is greatly appreciated.
We will let you know what events are coming up and you can let us know your availability.

To support the Encinitas Library as it strives to encourage literacy, lifelong learning and the love of reading throughout our diverse community. To enhance the library’s resources, increase the community’s access to information and knowledge, and provide a vibrant cultural gathering place.
Description
The Friends of the Encinitas Library spearheaded the drive for over 15 years to get a bigger, better library for our growing community. In addition the Friends.... · Donates quality children's books annually to the Encinitas Head Start classroom libraries. · Supports Signature Events like March's Storytelling Festival and August's Japan Festival. · Established The Friends Endowment Fund (Coastal Community Foundation) in 2007 to help ensure an ongoing
source of funding for library needs. · Raised funds for the purchase of a Steinway B grand piano for the library’s Community Room and an automated
check-in system. · Provides additional funding for over 100 adult, teen and childrens' programs offered monthly by the Encinitas Library. · Provides volunteer support for events, classes and activities as needed.
