Come help the Book Fair Foundation on the last day of the 50th Annual Dayton Book Fair! The sale will be at the new Montgomery County Fairgrounds & Event Center (entrance near 645 Infirmary Road). We'll need help with our final customers and tearing down the sale on November 15, 2021 anytime from 7:45am to hopefully 5pm at the latest. The Foundation will provide snacks.

The Book Fair Foundation collects donations of books year round for our annual book fair, the biggest used book sale in Ohio. Proceeds raised from the sale benefit three Dayton-area non-profits each year. The beneficiaries for 2021 are The Dayton International Peace Museum, WYSO and X*ACT (Xenia Area Community Theater).

"The mission of the Book Fair Foundation, Inc. is to receive and collect donated books which we resell through an annual book fair and other channels in order to raise money for a variety of charitable interests. In addition, we also redistribute donated books to schools, clinics, nursing homes, soup kitchens, the county jail, and other entities where books are needed."
Description
The Book Fair Foundation collects donations of books, CDs, DVDs, records, puzzles and games year-round which are priced, sorted and packed for our annual sale in November at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Each year we choose three local non-profit groups to share from the proceeds of the sale. We have supported local groups for over five years; we have 45 years of supporting a single charity, for which we raised over two million dollars.
