Loaves, Fishes & Computers (LFC) is a nonprofit in Salinas that is dedicated to changing people's lives through the effective use of donated, refurbished, and re-used computer systems.

Our mission: To help overcome the digital and economic divides by providing low-cost or no-cost computer systems, technology assistance and computer repair to low-income families, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and non-profit organizations, while providing volunteers a place to learn, share, & grown in the field of computer science & information technology.

LFC is always actively looking for volunteers and right now we are seeking on-call drivers for e-waste runs, donation pick ups, and carpooling for off-site events.

Position Description: On-call drivers are designated drivers for LFC. This includes carpooling for off-site events, picking up donations at various locations in Monterey County, and taking out e-waste materials from LFC to a recycling center in Salinas. A car is required, preferably an SUV (especially for carpooling) or truck (for donation pick ups and e-waste). LFC compensates $0.58 per mile for gas.
