Loaves, Fishes & Computers (LFC) is a nonprofit in Salinas that is dedicated to changing people's lives through the effective use of donated, refurbished, and re-used computer systems.
Our mission: To help overcome the digital and economic divides by providing low-cost or no-cost computer systems, technology assistance and computer repair to low-income families, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, and non-profit organizations, while providing volunteers a place to learn, share, & grown in the field of computer science & information technology.
Position description: Those placed in administration perform administrative and office support activities for LFC. Duties include receiving telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and filing. Extensive software skills are a plus but not required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills, preferably bilingual.
