The Humane Society for Southwest Washington is dedicated to completing families through animal adoptions, matchmaking, and lost and found services.
We're more than the largest Adoption Center-Shelter in Southwest Washington, we also own and operate ReTails Thrift Store - the premiere Clark County thrifting experience! We believe in second chances - not only for pets, but for gently used home goods, clothing, books and much more! Shop and donate with ReTails Thrift Store - every purchase and donation supports the dogs and cats.
Duties include:
- Help the Restore maintain a safe and beautiful sales floor.
- Assist with moving newly received product to the sales floor.
- Organize and clean shelves.
- Notice and fix safety hazards on the sales floor.
- Assist with customer service.
- Be a representative of Habitat for Humanity and our mission
Volunteers able to lift items over 20 lbs a plus, but not essential.
Minimum age is 16. Volunteers under age 18 must have a parent/guardian waiver
40 Minute general orientation is provided on Wednesday at 12 p.m. or Saturday at 11 a.m. Training is provided during your shift.
Shifts are available Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program supports over 100 non-profits and organizations in Clark County, Washington by interviewing, screening, and referring volunteers ages 55 and up.
