Evergreen Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. Habitat volunteers have the unique opportunity to help shape the community in which they live and affect real change in the lives of our families. We encourage everyone with compassion and dedication to become a volunteer with Evergreen Habitat. No matter what your skill level, we can match you with opportunities to develop your skills and put your talents into action.

This volunteer position is at the "front of the house" so you must enjoy people as you are serving as a representative of Habitat for Humanity. Duties include assisting customers in the purchasing of donated items. The Point-of Sale system is a touch screen tablet - basic understanding of computers is a plus, however, it is a simple system to learn. You must be okay with sitting and/or standing for a few hours at a time.

General Orientation is 40 minutes followed by 1 to 2 shifts of training based on the volunteer need. The Orientations are held on Wednesday at 12 p.m. or Saturday at 11 a.m.

Minimum age is 16 with a parental waiver. The store is located on the Bus Line for Bus 37. It is wheelchair accessible.

Shifts are available Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
