Evergreen Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. Habitat volunteers have the unique opportunity to help shape the community in which they live and affect real change in the lives of our families. We encourage everyone with compassion and dedication to become a volunteer with Evergreen Habitat. No matter what your skill level, we can match you with opportunities to develop your skills and put your talents into action.
Assist in the processing of donated goods and materials.
Duties include:
- Breaking down recyclable materials
- Sorting
- Pricing small items.
- Cleaning and organizing
- Observing and fixing safety hazards
- Ensure donors feel appreciated
- Spread awareness of Habitat's mission
40 minutes of general orientation is held on Wednesdays at 12 p.m. or Saturday at 11 a.m. Training is provided on your shift.
Minimum age is 16. Volunteers under 18 need a parent/guardian waiver.
Shifts are available Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Description
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program supports over 100 non-profits and organizations in Clark County, Washington by interviewing, screening, and referring volunteers ages 55 and up.
***IMPORTANT NOTE: The RSVP program will be closing its doors March 31, 2020.
