Girls Inc. inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The gender-specific programs and research-based curriculum equip girls ages 6-18 with skills and competencies that enable them to access a bright and economically-independent future. As a Girls Guide volunteer you facilitate the after school Girls Groups to help develop the confidence and self-esteem. Girls Inc. provides training in group facilitation, age-appropriate and gender-specific program delivery, and research-based curricula you can implement with your girls group.s You will be paired with a fellow volunteer Girls Guide or staff facilitator. Programs last 9--120 minutes and are delivered after school between 1 and 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday. Commitment is three hours per week and training (4 hours in person) is provided and required. Qualification for this position is that you are female or identify as female.

Description
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program supports over 100 non-profits and organizations in Clark County, Washington by interviewing, screening, and referring volunteers ages 55 and up.
