We are seeking a female, Spanish-speaking mentor for a 16-year-old female refugee youth from Guatemala. This youth arrived to Bethany's program in October of 2019. She is enrolled in a local public school in 10th grade. She has been adapting well to the new program and has formed friendships
In Guatemala, she lived with her mother, siblings and grandmother. She would go to school in Guatemala for a few hours and then help her mother with chores around the house. She has never met her father. This youth experienced abuse from a stranger in her hometown.
