We are seeking a Spanish-speaking, female volunteer to mentor a 17-year-old female refugee youth from Honduras. This youth arrived to Bethany's program in October of 2019. She is a 10th grader at a local public school. Her case manager shared, "The youth has been adjusting well to the program."

This youth lived in Honduras with her mother and siblings. She would work cleaning houses, taking care of kids and the elderly. She would attend school on Sundays for a couple hours. She traveled to the USA with her two younger brothers and a female friend of her step-father's. She has experienced trauma in her home country and during her journey to the U.S.
