ORGANIZATION: Human Services Council - Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

Furry Friends, founded in 1999, is a Vancouver, WA, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption organization. We strive to help cats in the Vancouver-Portland Metropolitan and surrounding area receive the medical services and companionship they need. We are operated entirely by volunteers. Our Mission is to rescue abused, abandoned or otherwise homeless cats and house them in a safe, healthy and socialized environment until we find new "forever homes" for them.

We are looking for a volunteer who can lead or co-lead next year’s Furry Friends auction. Have you worked on auctions or large events before? Are you an organized, detailed oriented individual and have experience with managing projects? Then you may be a good candidate for the Auction Project Manager for the 2020 auction. You need to be computer literate and able to keep detailed records. The auction is now a well-oiled machine and comes with hand holding by Diane Stevens every step of the way. No need to reinvent the wheel, we have it all figured out. Step up this year and work with Diane to see what all is needed for this position. Email Diane at news@furryfriendswa.orgif you are interested in knowing more. This is the largest fundraiser that Furry Friends holds each year. It brings in much needed funds for the medical needs and housing for the cats in our care.
