We are looking for people that would like to be trained in current scientific search methods to act as ground searchers, We are also looking for volunteers for support positions, which can be making snacks and drinks available to search people when they come back from the field or other support positions that require less training time or physical exertion. We are a ground search team using trained volunteer folks from our local area. We work under the auspices the Midland County Sheriff and are called out by Central Dispatch (911).

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • The time commitment is up to you and depends on what role you would like to fill
  • Being a ground searcher requires being able to walk a mile with a 20 pound pack in 20 minutes or less. Support staff positions don't have this requirement
