Food donation processing volunteers are needed daily at Buckheart Ranch to process the food donations that come into the ranch. Volunteers will process food to prepare it to either be distributed to people or used for animal feed.

Volunteers coming to fulfill requirements are welcome. We are a 501c3 organization and can provide information and verification of volunteer hours for those who need it.

Recommended volunteer shifts:
weekdays- 9 am to 12 pm
weekdays- 1 pm to 5 pm
weekdays- 3 pm to 6 pm
Saturdays- 8 am to 12 pm

Shifts are flexible and can be altered with advanced notice.

Description

Buckheart Ministries Inc was founded to expand our reach and ability to help others in our community. We offer monthly food distributions to provide food to those that are food insecure in our community. We reduce food waste by recycling unused food and processing it into feed for the livestock on the ranch. The livestock on the ranch are raised for market and a portion of the meat is donated back into the community through our food distributions.
