OUR MISSION: The Clark County Veterans Assistance Centers (CCVAC) mission is to provide a welcoming and safe environment with the goal of assisting Veterans and their families in obtaining benefits, services and resources to meet their basic needs. CCVAC strives to support the reintegration of male and female military Veterans into the community.
Our Services: Financial aid through the Veteran’s Assistance Fund, Assistance with VA claims and benefits, Free clothing for Veterans in need, Free food for hungry Veterans in need, Free hygiene items, outdoor equipment for homeless Veterans (backpacks, sleeping bags, etc.) Additional assistance is provided in locating: Employment, Housing, Medical and dental care, And much more...
In this position you will meet and greet veterans, direct them to correct resource after determining the type of assistance needed, set appointments in the calendar, make coffee, prepare light food items periodically, and answer phone calls.
Qualifications for this position include the minimum age of 18 years old and have great people skills.On-site training with staff. Time commitment is Monday - Friday open through 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Description
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program supports over 100 non-profits and organizations in Clark County, Washington by interviewing, screening, and referring volunteers ages 55 and up.
***IMPORTANT NOTE: The RSVP program will be closing its doors March 31, 2020.
