Mission Statement

The mission of CASA of Autauga and Chilton Counties is to ensure every abused, neglected, and abandoned child in both counties has a competent, caring volunteer appointed to advocate in court for the child's best interest.

Description

The Court Appointed Special Advocate program of Autauga and Chilton Counties, Alabama, works with the Juvenile Court in our counites . Community volunteers are appointed by the judge to learn all they can about the children on their case, monitor, make recommendations, and speak in court for the best interest of dependent children. They work closely with the Guardian ad Litem, serving in the role of "friend of the court."
