Northland Early Education Center is actively seeking community members to join our Board of Directors. We are seeking members who have a passion for supporting early education and therapy services for children with typical needs and special needs. Board Members are expected to help the growth and expansion of Northland Early Education Center, so it can continue to provide crucial services to the youth of the Kansas City, MO community.

Board Members meet monthly at Board Meetings and are also expected to join a committee, such as Fund Development Committee, Finance Committee, Quality Improvement Committee, etc. Committees also meet monthly.

Northland Early Education Center provides early education and therapy services for children who have special needs as well as early education for children who have typical needs, in a fully inclusive classroom environment in order for them to reach their full potential.

Description

Northland Early Education Center is committed to providing early education and therapy services to children in need. It is our desire to help children grow and develop to achieve their highest quality of life. We provide services to more than 230 children in the Kansas City area. Our facility is unique in that it groups children based on their age and not on their developmental ability. That means the children with typical needs are able to learn from the children with special needs and vice versa.
