The American Cancer Society in Lexington, KY is seeking volunteers to help in our office located on UK's campus. The duties of the volunteer would entail answering phones, mailings, office organization, helping patients with wig appointments and other clerical duties as needed.
The amount of hours/time a volunteer can help is flexible however it would have to be during working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Description
Make a Difference in the Lives of Cancer Patients
Volunteers will attend a 2-hour training to learn about the American Cancer Society and its patient services. They are provided with a Kit that includes printed material on ACS programs, services, and cancer site-specific educational information.
