No matter what your talents or interests, you can make a difference in someone's life. When you volunteer with Kindred Hospice, you become part of a team of skilled, compassionate people who dedicate their time to a truly noble cause.
Direct Patient Visit Volunteers --- Visiting our patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities, or by being a supportive presence. You may also provide respite for caregivers so they can have some time away for themselves. There is no hands on direct care required or expected of our volunteers such as feeding, transferring to and from a chair or bed, or transportation to patients or their family members
Volunteers needed to visit patients and provide companionship that reside in facilities or their private homes throughout Warwick and/or West Warwick, visits are on a weekly frequency based on the need of the patient, but visits are able to be conducted at a time that works well for you.
