Position description: Looking for passionate, motivated volunteers who really want to change the world to start a Los Angeles Chapter of SYSTEM Coalition! We have opportunities creating and running events and programs, supporting our media team, and in grants/fundraising. I am dedicated to finding the best fit for every volunteer by getting to know you, your goals, and what you want to get out of volunteering.
A little about SYSTEM Coalition: We started 6 years ago in Tucson, AZ. 6 exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping k-12 students find a passion for STEM. They saw all of the poverty in the city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 100 volunteers, chapters in 4 different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has shown me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time! Come join me in bringing this incredible organization to LA!

Description
