Description
Hospice is a form of compassionate and quality care for people facing a life-limiting illness or injury. Hospice is a special program designed to make the end-of-life experience a positive one, the goal is to make the patient comfortable and support the family through this challenging time. A hospice volunteer is someone who wishes to make a difference in the lives of the terminally ill, which can include providing companionship, listening or simply being there for a patient, reading a book, simple crafts, watching a movie or writing letters. If you are interested in spending an hour or two a week or a month, please reach out to us for more details. Training can come to you and is provided at no cost.
